JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to be part of a workplace with varied tasks and a dynamic work environment? Then you will fit as a teacher with us at Vasaskolan's middle school.

We are looking for a licensed teacher for grades 7-9 with qualifications in English and possibly another subject. We seek someone who, with great commitment and curiosity, wants to take on the teaching assignment to create a good study environment and a desire to learn among our students. It is important that you have good relational competence.

We want you to have a good ability to vary your teaching based on applicable governing documents and that you are interested in collaborating with subject colleagues as well as team colleagues. At the school, we work in teams with the student in focus but also have subject deepening and other meetings on our conference agenda. Your assignment includes mentorship.

We expect you to have a good understanding of how quality teaching is planned and implemented based on students' needs and conditions.

QUALIFICATIONS

Teaching license in English and possibly another subject for middle school.

To start working in preschool, school, after-school care, and other educational activities, you must show an extract from the criminal record. The extract is valid for one year and can be ordered from the Swedish Police Authority www.polisen.se (http://www.polisen.se).
