Strömslund School is located on the western side of the river in Trollhättan. Our organization includes students from preschool to grade 9, as well as after-school care. The school has a high percentage of experienced and certified teachers. Our students feel safe at school and achieve good academic results. About the Position

The position is a substitute role. The primary responsibilities include teaching music, but teaching in other subjects and other common school tasks may also be included.

Responsibilities

In collaboration with engaged colleagues, you will teach music based on current goals and guidelines. You will provide students with the opportunity to develop their abilities in line with the common mission of primary education. The work includes planning, documenting, and assessing based on the subject's syllabus. Mentorship is included in the position.

Qualifications

We are looking for a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach music in grades 4-9. You should be well acquainted with your teaching role and confident in your leadership. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating and building good relationships with both students and adults. You have a positive attitude towards students, a strong ability to see their potential, and can offer good learning environments. It is an advantage if you can also teach in other subjects.

You need to have good digital competence as digital tools should be a natural part of your teaching.
