Description

Östrabo Y, a school building with vocational education, offers an opportunity to become part of our team and contribute to a learning environment where every student has the chance to flourish.

As a special educator, you primarily work preventively and proactively with cross-professional student health teams including school nurses, school counselors, and career advisors to support students' development towards educational goals. Access to a school doctor, shared between primary and secondary schools, is available. In addition, the secondary school has access to school psychologists.

The special educators in the secondary school have joint meetings in the professional group as well as supervision from a psychologist. The student health team at Uddevalla secondary school collaborates throughout the academic year under the leadership of the student health manager.

Qualifications

  • Degree in special education.
  • Experience working with students with special needs.
  • Ability to collaborate with students, teachers, the student health team, and parents to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage in dialogue and document efforts.
