Do you have the interest, willingness, and commitment to work with children and young people? Do you enjoy taking responsibility and can step in at short notice, even if you receive a booking from the school early in the morning?

In cases of illness, childcare, and other absences, we need substitute teachers. As a substitute teacher, you will be right in the middle of the operations where it is expected that you are flexible and can quickly familiarize yourself with different routines. The school's first lesson starts around 8:00 AM, which requires you to be available from about 7:30 AM.

In Härryda municipality's schools, students' desire to learn should be stimulated. Learning should be characterized by collaboration, participation, and influence for children and young people. Care and learning should form a whole, and the school should take care of the student in the best possible way. Härryda municipality has 18 municipal primary schools from Mölnlycke in the west to Rävlanda in the east.

As a substitute teacher, you replace regular staff, which means you should be able to conduct lessons for a whole class, either in various subjects (grades F-6) or in specific subjects (grades 7-9). As a teacher in after-school care, you participate in activities with students in grades F-6 before school starts and after the school day ends. During the school day, you will be in the classroom supporting the regular teacher.

We are looking for someone who wants to work in our primary schools in Härryda municipality during the spring. As a person, you are responsible, engaged, calm, and empathetic with a genuine interest in working with children and young people. You are also confident in yourself and can take command in the classroom and create a good learning environment.

Qualifications

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Extract from the police's criminal record, known as Control of Own Data
• High school diploma
• Can work at least 4-5 days a week (Mon-Fri)

Meritorious

• Can work in all areas: Mölnlycke, Landvetter, Hindås, and Rävlanda
• Relevant work experience
• Relevant education for the profession
• Several years of work experience
• Experience in mentoring/teaching groups
• Category B driver's license

To obtain employment, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented. You can order the criminal record from the police's website. If you are called for an interview, you should bring the criminal record, Control of Own Data, in an unopened envelope.

For this application, you need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. Answers to the questions are used as part of the selection process. Your CV and answers to the questions should be formulated in Swedish. Our needs vary, and based on current needs, we will call for interviews.
