With the support of dedicated mentors, vocational teachers, and educators, we create a meaningful and safe learning environment where students develop both professionally and personally. Yrkesgymnasiet Munkedal is primarily looking for a certified vocational teacher with experience as a mechanic for both passenger cars and trucks; however, those with at least five years of work experience as an automotive mechanic are also welcome to apply. Here, students learn a trade from the ground up in real workplaces with experienced mentors. In this role, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge with the mechanics of the future. More than half of the students' educational time is spent in a workplace, providing them with a solid foundation and advantage in the job market. Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future careers with the support of their mentors and dedicated educators.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a certified teacher as an automotive mechanic or has at least five years of industry experience and a strong drive to teach and mentor students.

• Is an excellent communicator and team player who can act as a bridge between school, students, and the business community.

• Has a valid driver's license (B) and preferably access to a personal vehicle.

• Has the ability to work independently while also being team-oriented and collaborating with colleagues to best prepare students for their future careers.

Qualifications

A teaching degree or substantial experience in the automotive industry with a desire to inspire and develop the next generation of mechanics. A teaching license and pedagogical experience are desirable but not required.
