Stenungsund municipality is currently seeking substitutes for preschools, primary schools, and after-school programs. Here, you make an important contribution to the development, learning, and growth of children and students based on their own conditions.

You control when you want to work by making yourself available on the days and times you wish to work in a program called Time Care Pool. In the program, you also have the opportunity to see which shifts are available in the future and express your interest in these.

As a substitute, you may be booked on short notice to replace regular staff on the same day. No day is the same, which makes the job both challenging and rewarding.

The education in preschool should provide children with safe care and lay the foundation for their security and self-esteem. In preschool, we work with the youngest children aged 1-5 years.

You will work with:

• Being involved in children's play and activities, indoors and outdoors
• Supporting children in their development
• Being familiar with the preschool curriculum Lpfö 18

The education in primary school and after-school programs should provide students with safe care and lay the foundation for their security and self-esteem. In primary school and after-school programs, we work with children aged 6-16 years.

You may work with:

• Conducting your own lessons
• Assisting with indoor and outdoor activities
• Helping and supporting children in their development according to the curriculum
• Being responsible for the after-school program in collaboration with regular staff; at certain times of the day, you may be solely responsible

You will gain valuable work experience and a unique insight into various operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Can work on short notice.
• Master the Swedish language in speech and writing; communication is one of our most important tools.
• Is expected to have a good attitude towards both children, students, guardians, and colleagues.

Desirable:

• Education in the field.
• Work experience in preschool/school.

The work as a substitute consists of many meetings where you are expected to be a responsible adult and take your own initiative. Therefore, it is of great importance that you have a positive view of people and good collaboration skills.
