Häggetorpskolan, located in the southern part of Tibro, offers preschool class, primary school for grades 1-6, and after-school care. At Häggetorpskolan, about 43 dedicated staff members work, and we have around 270 students. We look forward to welcoming you to our community!

RESPONSIBILITIES

In your role as a leisure teacher, you will plan, teach, and develop the after-school care activities. Together with your colleagues, you will collaborate to create a stimulating, safe, and educational environment for the students.

Based on the goals of the activities, leisure teachers work in collaboration with other positions to create a good educational environment aimed at promoting children's learning and development while inspiring them to new discoveries and interests.

The role includes a special responsibility for the school's break activities. You will plan, implement, and develop break activities that invite movement, community, and participation, contributing to a safe and meaningful break environment. We appreciate if you have previous experience working with similar tasks where students have been involved in planning and implementing activities. During the school day, you will also collaborate with the school's educators and contribute to students' learning and development.

Depending on qualifications and the needs of the activities, teaching in home economics, physical education, or music may be relevant.

QUALIFICATIONS

A teaching license is required for the position. It is desirable that you have teaching experience.

You represent good ethics and sound values. You have the ability to speak clearly and exude credibility and confidence.

You have the ability to plan and organize your work. You find it easy to set goals, organize resources, follow up, and complete activities.

You have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. You encourage and support change initiatives. You find it easy to adjust your behavior according to the needs of others.
