Preschool Teacher at Tellusgatan 4 and Saturnusgatan 20

We are looking for a preschool teacher for the preschools at Tellusgatan and Saturnusgatan.

The preschools are located at Rymdtorget, centrally in Bergsjön.

Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will be responsible, together with colleagues and the principal, for leading and developing the preschool's activities towards the goals of the curriculum. Together, you will work to create a shared understanding of teaching and learning processes. The role of the preschool teacher also involves supporting and guiding colleagues in teaching development based on scientific principles and proven experience. You will keep up with and update yourself on research relevant to preschool. You will lead and contribute to the development of meeting places for collegial learning based on identified needs and have an extended responsibility for systematic quality work. In the position as a preschool teacher, you will spend at least 51% of your time in the children's group.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who is a licensed preschool teacher and is well-versed in the preschool teacher's mission to lead and be responsible for the teaching conducted. You can document at least four years of well-regarded work in preschool teaching and have experience in improving teaching through various methods and learning tools. You have good knowledge in selecting relevant teaching tools based on the needs of the children's group.

In your role as a preschool teacher, you have demonstrated a particularly good ability to improve pedagogical approaches and have a strong interest in developing education and teaching. You have the ability to create engagement and good relationships with children, guardians, and preschool staff. You can support and challenge colleagues based on a scientific approach and see opportunities for changes to achieve development. You also have a good ability to analyze teaching based on systematic quality work and to translate theory into practice.

As a person, you are motivated by learning new things and developing. You actively monitor your professional field and regularly reflect on what needs to be developed in your work. You have a strong commitment to your work and take initiative, start activities, and achieve results whether you work alone or with others. You plan, organize, and prioritize your work effectively and ensure that tasks are completed on time and follow up on results. You have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different conditions. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.
