JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for substitute teachers for work in our preschools in Älmhult Municipality.

Working as a substitute teacher in preschool gives you valuable work experience and can be the start of a career in preschool education. We offer you a meaningful job where you meet children aged 1-5 years.

As a substitute, you must be at least 18 years old. You must have a criminal record extract for work in preschool. Working as a substitute means that you will often be booked on short notice to cover for regular staff absences. You may also be offered longer substitute positions if needed. The assignment involves work at several preschools, and working hours vary depending on the needs of the operation. Our opening hours are 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

You will work in teams. The work is very varied, and you will assist with teaching, social activities, care, and practical tasks. The activities are also conducted outdoors. We work every day with good education and care. In all operations, you have a duty of confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is flexible, responsible, and has good teamwork skills. You should have good knowledge of Swedish.

We primarily seek those who have an education in pedagogy/care. Those with other professional experience are also welcome to apply.

It is advantageous if you have a B driver's license and access to your own car, as this allows you to work both centrally and in rural areas.
