Hemstaden is now looking for a social worker in Växjö with extended responsibility in daily operations. This is a role for you who want to combine client work with leadership, structure, and quality development.

About the position

You will work both with client contact and operational responsibility, where you:

  • Conduct supportive conversations, crisis management, and safety planning.
  • Collaborate with social services, healthcare, schools, and legal actors.
  • Document according to applicable guidelines and ensure legally secure processes.
  • Lead parts of the operational work in the organization.
  • Ensure that routines, guidelines, and legal requirements are followed.
  • Supervise and support colleagues as needed.
  • Actively work with development work and the quality management system (ISO 9001 & 14001).

Working hours are mainly weekdays from 8 AM to 5 PM, with some requirement for flexibility.

We are looking for someone who has

  • A degree in social work.
  • Experience working with victims of violence or other vulnerable groups.
  • A secure, stable, and independent working style.
  • Good collaboration skills and professional communication.
  • A driver's license.
  • Interest in leadership and structure.

Meritorious

  • Previous leadership responsibility or managerial role.
  • Education in leadership and/or leadership development.
  • Language skills beyond Swedish.
  • Training in Trappan, MI, or other conversation methodologies.
  • Experience with quality management systems, especially ISO.
