JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The support services are responsible for the interventions that people with disabilities have the right to in order to live their lives like others and participate in society. Disabilities can be physical, mental, or intellectual.

Special Housing:

This job is suitable for you who are interested in providing support to individuals with disabilities in our group homes, service homes, and social psychiatry. You guide and assist individuals with disabilities to help them achieve a functional and meaningful everyday life. Responsibilities include supporting the user in daily activities such as cleaning, cooking, personal care, and leisure activities. All support is provided based on the user's individual needs and wishes.

Support for Children and Youth:

Within the support services, we also work with support for children and youth with disabilities. We have a children's program called Lingonet - where children and youth come regularly as respite for their parents, while also getting a change of environment and engaging in fun activities. To work at Lingonet, you need to have a clean extract from the criminal record.

QUALIFICATIONS

We believe you enjoy freedom with responsibility, are flexible, and like social work. For all areas, it is important that you are solution-focused and can work independently. You are responsible, reliable, and skilled at building good relationships while supporting individuals to have a good everyday life.

You do not need to have experience/education in care work to apply for a summer job with us. However, we primarily seek those who are trained nursing assistants or residential assistants, or those who are currently studying in nursing programs, nursing education, or other suitable care training. For temporary positions within support services, we also welcome applicants from child and youth programs or other relevant education. It is an advantage if you have work experience in care work.

We are looking for individuals who are at least 18 years old and enjoy working with people. For certain positions, a B driver's license for manual transmission is required. Working hours are scheduled, which may include days, evenings, and weekends. There are also positions that only involve night work. In the care of individuals with disabilities, on-call/sleeping night shifts may also be part of the schedule.
