Primary care consists of 21 publicly run health centers, 1177, primary care rehabilitation, family health services, and "A Way In" for children and young people with mental health issues. About Child and Youth Health
Child and Youth Health is Region Kronoberg's primary care clinic for mental health issues among children and young people. We work across the county to promote mental health and prevent ill health in children and young people between 6 and 18 years of age, as well as their families. Clinics are located in Växjö and Ljungby.
We are now looking for you who have the right competence and experience, want an exciting assignment, and wish to contribute to preventive and promoting work for the mental health of children and young people.

Responsibilities
Child and Youth Health works with assessment, mapping, and short-term treatment/short-term interventions both individually and in groups. We provide advice and support to children, young people, and their families. Common reasons for the need for intervention include anxiety/worry, depression, acting-out behavior, and the need for support in the parental role.
We have group activities, as well as lectures for parents and other professionals. Our assignment also includes supervision, consultation to cooperation partners, and collaboration with all municipalities in the county.

Qualifications
- Education as a Social Worker/equivalent behavioral science education, or a Nurse with Step 1 education.
- Good and broad competence to quickly make qualified assessments and provide advice and support to parents, young people, and professionals based on their specific situation and needs.
- Knowledge and experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
- Flexibility and the ability to handle varied tasks, as well as reflection and thoughtfulness.
- Knowledge and experience of consultation and supervision are considered an asset.
- We attach great importance to personal suitability.
- A driver's license is desirable as there are trips within the county and work at both of the unit's clinics.
Important: Experience is required. Before an offer of employment is made, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record register must be presented.
