Youth Coordinator for the ESF Project Skruvas

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the autumn of 2024, the ESF project Skruvas will start, targeting young adults aged 18-24 who are neither working nor studying.

The aim is to strengthen the municipal activity responsibility and develop coordinated support measures for a target group that often has experienced school failures and is far from the labor market. The work focuses on improving transitions between school and working life and providing young people access to support measures that they otherwise lack.

As a youth coordinator, you will provide individual and in-depth support to the target group. The work is based on the Supported Employment, Training, and Education method, which means you will work closely with the youth throughout the process, from mapping to intervention.

You will coordinate support together with KAA coordinators, study and career counselors, and other relevant actors. You will also contribute to developing access to internships, education, and social or health-oriented interventions, as well as strengthening transitions between different school forms and further into working life.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience working with youth, who collaborates well, and has a solution-focused and secure approach. You need to be able to work independently and in a structured manner and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Experience in labor market policy measures, the labor market area, study and career guidance, matching, or mapping of the target group is an advantage.

You have at least a post-secondary education at the bachelor's level in behavioral science, pedagogy, study and career guidance, social work, or another relevant field. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is required.
