JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Department of Work and Welfare is responsible for areas such as labor market and employment, financial assistance, adult education, integration, individual and family care, family law, social psychiatry, and budget and debt counseling.

The Department of Work and Learning is a division within the administration that deals with issues related to the labor market, education, assistance, and integration. Here, the municipality's field operations also play an important role in collaboration with other societal instances.

Parketten is a unit within the Department of Work and Learning that encompasses daily activities, employment, and meeting points. The operations cater to individuals with mental and neuropsychiatric disabilities through decisions according to SoL, LSS, or work training via internal instructions.

At Parketten, 15 supervisors, one activity leader, and one service assistant work together to provide meaningful employment for individuals in daily activities, employment, and work training. We have workgroups in assembly, service, music, gardening, recycling, sewing, crafts, art, café, and kitchen. We are creative and work sustainably with reused materials and social community.

One of our supervisors is going on parental leave at Café Alma at Växjö City Library, and we are looking for someone who, together with colleagues, wants to work and run the café under Parketten's management.

We are looking for someone interested in working within daily activities, employment, and meeting points at Parketten. You will work as a supervisor at Parketten, and we are seeking a colleague who wants to run our café with coffee and light lunch service.

The goal of the operations is to offer meaningful employment and community for our participants. The work involves recognizing each person's will and resources, increasing their independence and self-esteem through meaningful group activities. Furthermore, it includes creating a safe environment, providing opportunities for social contacts, and a stimulating and developing operation.

The work also involves close collaboration with other operations to enable transitions. Documentation is an important part of the work; each participant has an individual implementation plan.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a behavioral science or pedagogical education at the university level, approved education from the health and care program, the child and leisure program, or a YH education with a focus on disabilities.

You have experience working with individuals with mental disabilities and neuropsychiatric disabilities. We also see it as important that you have experience and knowledge in cooking, café, and lunch operations.

As a person, you are creative, social, curious, structured, see opportunities, and have a good ability to collaborate with others. You have a pedagogical approach, are meticulous, and take personal responsibility. You are also passionate about service and quality.

Experience in kitchen, café, and cooking is required.

Experience in group supervision of the target group is required.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

A driving license (B) is a requirement.
