JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for summer substitutes for a meaningful and structured assignment within personal assistance. The assignment involves support for a woman under LSS with developmental disabilities and autism, where the work is characterized by clear routines, low-arousal responses, and a pedagogical approach. The work takes place in Lagan.

As a personal assistant, you provide support in daily life based on the user's individual needs. The assignment suits you who thrive in a structured environment, are calm in your demeanor, and enjoy working consistently according to established routines. Here, you will have the opportunity to work long-term with the same person, which creates security, personal knowledge, and good quality in the support. You will be part of an established and experienced workgroup. Clear routines are in place, and guidance is provided by a support pedagogue. During the day, you always work together with regular staff, which provides good introduction and support in the assignment. Nighttime work may involve solo work in the form of sleeping duty.

The temporary position involves full-time work during weeks 26-33, with training before the summer.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is 18 years or older
• Has a driver's license for a manual car
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, corresponding to the level required to understand and follow routines
• Is calm, secure, and enjoys structure
• Has the ability to work with low-arousal methods and follow common working methods

Experience working with individuals with autism is meritorious, as is experience from, for example, schools, teaching assistant roles, or other educational activities.
