JOB DESCRIPTION

Daily Activities at Holmsborg is now seeking a committed and secure substitute for a six-month position. With us, you will have a meaningful job where you contribute every day to creating structure, participation, and joy for our participants.

Holmsborg offers a creative and varied work environment where participants engage in several different activities. The operation manufactures fire starters, casts concrete, produces gift cards, performs packing work, and participates in outdoor assignments. As a staff member, you are an important support in these activities and help participants develop at their own pace.

Your role includes supporting participants in their work tasks, creating security and structure in both group and individual situations, and documenting according to current routines. The work involves both independent efforts and collaboration within the team. In the operation, threats and violence may occur, and there are times when you work alone with participants. Therefore, you need to be secure, stable, and have a good ability to act professionally even in challenging situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, it is required that you have a high school or post-secondary education relevant to the profession, such as nursing assistant, personal assistant, support pedagogue, or personal assistant. The education should be related to care and nursing or educational work within the area of disabilities. It is advantageous if you have experience working with people with disabilities. You need to be responsible, have good collaboration skills, and be able to handle situations that require calmness and clarity. We will rely heavily on personal suitability.

The position is a six-month substitute. Start date is according to agreement, and the placement is at Daily Activities Holmsborg located in Lagan, Ljungby municipality.

You need to have a B driver's license and access to your own car. A criminal record check will be conducted prior to hiring in accordance with the social administration's guidelines.

The qualifications above are the basis, but we also see that a person with the right attitude, personality, and willingness is very important for a functioning operation. Since the LSS Act forms the basis for our work, personal suitability is very important as participants need to feel secure and receive the right type of educational support and response from the staff.
