The Employment and Welfare Unit works to support residents towards sustainable self-sufficiency. Through investigations of financial assistance and individual plans, social workers and labor market coordinators work together with individuals to create steps towards work or studies.

Within the unit, there are both internal labor market initiatives and collaboration with external actors. We are now strengthening our operations by expanding the unit with a supervisor who will develop collaboration with other municipal units and contribute to creating more internship opportunities. The work is carried out in close cooperation with, among others, the Public Employment Service and other partners.

The unit is part of a politically governed organization, and operations are continuously developed, partly due to the upcoming activity requirement.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a supervisor, you will work closely with participants in labor market initiatives and support them in developing their skills and taking steps closer to work or studies. You collaborate with other departments and organizations to create and plan meaningful internship and work tasks.

Your role includes providing pedagogical and structured guidance, documenting participants' development, and meeting individuals with varying needs. The work is both social and practical and may involve physical tasks such as construction, service, and transport duties, as well as moving and handling materials.

The operation is under development, and as a supervisor, you will play an important role in shaping and developing working methods together with the unit and other departments.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with experience in supervising or working with people in labor market initiatives, internships, or similar activities. You have a pedagogical ability and can motivate and support individuals based on their individual circumstances.

You are structured and responsible, have an easy time collaborating, and enjoy cooperating with different organizations and actors. Since the role involves building and developing working methods, we see that you are proactive, solution-oriented, and have the ability to see opportunities.

The work may involve physical elements such as transport, service tasks, and handling materials, which requires you to have good physical ability. A B driver's license is a requirement.

We would like you to have:

• experience in supervision and coaching
• good ability to plan, schedule, and document
• enjoy working in a role that combines social support with practical tasks
