Welcome to the field of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and the patient's participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

Ekeliden belongs to specialist psychiatry and is a care and treatment home for adult women and men who have a dependency on alcohol, drugs, and/or medications. We employ CBT therapists, treatment assistants, treatment pedagogues, doctors, nurses, and kitchen staff. Ekeliden is located in Tingsryd, 45 km south of Växjö.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The treatment is based on a solution-focused perspective where the client formulates the problem themselves. The active methods involve various CBT methods, contact person conversations, and alternating care with training at home. The treatment is low-intensity with four to five treatment sessions per week and time for recovery.

As a substitute, you will be involved in the clients' daily activities and occupations together with the regular staff. Travel to and from the clients' various activities as well as practical work such as cleaning and helping in the kitchen is included in the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is an educated behavioral scientist or has other training that the employer deems equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience in addiction and treatment work. You have a good ability to meet people in vulnerable situations and are flexible with good collaboration skills. Your values align well with the equal rights of all individuals.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A B driver's license is a requirement. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police criminal record must be presented.
