Job Responsibilities

The position is a permanent employment, but initially applies to a parental leave substitute as a child social worker. As a child social worker, you will work with authority and follow up on the placement of children/youth. The work involves close collaboration with children/youth, guardians, and foster homes.

After the parental leave substitute as a child social worker, the tasks may vary between social worker for children and youth and adult handling. The tasks are based on the current needs of the organization, are varied, and the workdays can look different. Authority work includes investigating and assessing needs based on risk and protection, as well as planning, implementing, and following up on outpatient care interventions. The work involves building trusting relationships with children, youth, adults, parents, and their networks – seeing opportunities and solutions. Within the framework of your work, good collaboration both internally and externally is also required.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work and experience in various areas within social services.

The position requires a B driver's license and familiarity with driving a manual transmission. We prefer candidates with several years of work experience in the field and who are well acquainted with relevant legislation, SoL, LVU, LBSB, and LVM.

We are looking for someone who is calm and stable. You thrive in fast-changing environments, see opportunities, and dare to try new things. You are attentive and have good communication skills both verbally and in writing.
