About the position

We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant as a substitute when needed for our client in Växjö. As a personal assistant on an as-needed basis, you will work during the absence of regular assistants, such as during vacations or illness.

Requirements for this position include a manual driving license to be able to drive the client to their work.

Working hours are scheduled as follows for weekdays and weekends:

  • 07:30 AM - 04:00 PM Weekdays
  • 04:00 PM - 11:00 PM Weekdays
  • 11:00 PM - 08:30 AM Weekdays sleeping on duty with 3 hours of waiting time
  • 08:00 AM - 09:00 PM Saturday
  • 09:00 PM - 10:00 AM Saturday sleeping on duty with 3 hours of waiting time
  • 09:00 AM - 09:00 PM Sunday
  • 09:00 PM - 08:30 AM Sunday sleeping on duty with 3 hours of waiting time

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start training immediately.

About the client

The client is a man in his 30s with interests in sports, music, and film. Our client needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to a muscle disease. In the home, there are aids such as a lift, shower chair, and breathing mask.

The tasks are as follows:

  • Support with daily routines and household chores
  • Assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
  • Practical support in everyday activities
  • Assistance with transfers

Are you the one we are looking for?

We believe that you who are applying for this position are a person who enjoys working with people and can put others' needs at the center. As a person, you are empathetic, socially aware, solution-focused, proactive, and reliable. You have a calm personality and understand the difference between mental and physical disabilities. Requirements:

  • Manual driving license to be able to drive the client to their work
  • Swedish in speech and writing as well as comprehension
  • Physically strong as manual transfers are required
  • Able to work varying hours on weekdays and weekends

Merits:

  • Experience working as a personal assistant or in healthcare and social services.

Employment rate: 1 position as a substitute when needed. In the long run, a permanent position.

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.

A prerequisite for starting employment with Olivia is that you can present valid ID and submit a personal certificate as well as any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download a personal certificate from the Tax Agency's website.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
