We are currently looking for a personal assistant for a 9-year-old boy living in Lagan. We are looking for someone who can work as needed a few days a week. You who apply should have a positive attitude and genuine commitment. You should have a sense of play and motivation and good physical fitness.

What the job entails: 

Your tasks will involve working based on the client's needs. Our client is a young boy of 9 years old who has autism; he lives with his family, parents, and 2 sisters in Lagan. He loves to play, be outdoors, and engage in various activities. It is important that you, as an applicant, can provide him with both security and structure. You need to be able to work in a motivating and preventive manner. 

The job involves constant active supervision. In addition, you will also support the boy's care/hygiene, assist during meal situations, and more. 

At the client's request, you must be a woman and have good physical fitness as the job may involve high-tempo play. The work involves being outdoors with the client every day regardless of the weather. The client can be very fast at times, and you need to be able to keep up with his pace.

Additional Information 

• Employment type:  Hourly and on-demand employment or a smaller schedule. 

• Working hours: Weekday afternoons approximately 14:00-17:00, Saturdays 10:00-16:00 but are flexible and can be discussed. You should be able to work a few days a week.

• Start date: Immediately or as agreed.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
