Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. The care should be provided in collaboration with other actors both within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and the patient's participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The specialist psychiatry for children, youth, and adults provides modern and specialized psychiatric care in collaboration with relatives and other caregivers. A good working environment with motivated and competent employees is a prerequisite for us to succeed in our mission.

The general psychiatry is organized into specialized units where staff work based on integrated teams, outpatient care, and round-the-clock care that follows the patient throughout the care chain. Within the general psychiatric outpatient clinic unit 2, patients with personality disorders, eating disorders, neuropsychiatric issues, and patients at risk of suicide are treated.

We are now looking for a social worker for the general psychiatry outpatient care, would you like to be part of our team?

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a social worker in general psychiatry, you will work with:

• psychosocial mapping with assessment and suggestions for interventions regarding support in daily life, finances, housing, employment, and relationships.
• conducting family interviews as part of the assessment of ADHD and autism.
• providing information and guidance to patients in their contact with other authorities and services in the community.
• participating in the disability benefits team and conducting investigations in disability benefit cases.
• being a primary care contact for patients in general psychiatry. You will be the spider in the web that holds the care together and collaborates with others.
• leading SIP meetings and network meetings.
• providing consultation to colleagues.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work. Experience in therapeutic work within psychiatric care, experience in case management within social services, and/or being a licensed healthcare social worker is advantageous. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. In the team, you contribute your expertise alongside other professionals to create a holistic view of the patient's needs. We see that you are proactive, have planning skills, are responsible, and have the desire and interest to work on developing psychiatric care. You are confident and have the ability to think outside the box and contribute ideas and solutions in your work and in change processes.
