JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a social worker in the support and investigation unit IFO, a unit within the adult department. The service targets adults with issues manifested in harmful use and dependence.

We handle cases related to harmful use and dependence according to the Social Services Act, contact person cases, as well as investigations and processing in coercive matters according to LVM. We also collaborate with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and the Police Authority on issues concerning, among other things, criminal dropouts and reintegration from prison.

As a social worker within the support and investigation unit, you will work closely with clients with a clear individual perspective and strive to find the best solution for each individual. To provide the best possible support, we work in teams, which means collaboration with other units within the department as well as with internal and external actors.

In your work, you will have close support from your manager, a specialist in social law, and other colleagues. The focus and direction of the service align with the new Social Services Act that came into force on July 1, 2025. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or a degree in IKM/treatment pedagogy with social law, as well as good knowledge of applicable legislation.

You have a good ability to work independently in all parts of the job and at the same time find it easy to collaborate with colleagues and external actors, as well as to build trusting relationships with people in vulnerable situations. Documentation is an important part of the job, which requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We value solution-focused and analytical abilities, and we would like you to have experience working with addiction and treatment interventions.

A driving license (B) is required. During the recruitment process, great emphasis will be placed on personal qualities.
