Region Kronoberg and all municipalities in the county have established integrated addiction and dependency clinics in Växjö and Ljungby. This position is located in Ljungby. The clinics cater to individuals aged 16 and over with defined addiction and dependency issues concerning alcohol, narcotics, medications, or doping, as well as individuals with comorbidity, aiming to provide the best possible care for those dependent on alcohol, narcotics, medications, doping, or other addictive substances. Individuals with gambling addiction should also be offered the best possible care based on their specific needs, regardless of where they live in the county. Employees from social services' outpatient operations, Region Kronoberg's psychiatry, and primary care will work under the same roof for the benefit of patients and clients.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will primarily work with individual counseling where you meet individuals with addiction and dependency issues. You are responsible for designing and implementing treatment work in a structured manner for individuals with addiction. Establishing implementation plans and documentation is part of the job responsibilities, as well as conducting testing. You will also work with support for relatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another education that the employer deems equivalent. It is a requirement that you have experience in addiction and treatment work and possess a good ability to meet people in vulnerable situations. In your role, you need to have good collaboration skills as well as the ability to work independently and in a structured manner. The job also requires flexibility and the ability to handle unforeseen situations.

As a person, you are calm, stable, and trustworthy, with the ability to create and maintain good relationships.

Attention to detail in handling and a good approach based on strengthening the individual's own ability are also important qualities. You enjoy challenges and are stimulated by flexible tasks.

A valid driver's license is a requirement.
