JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Gullvivan Preschool consists of six departments divided into two older children's departments, two middle, and two younger children's departments. The preschool is located in the Hovshaga district and is part of the Hovshaga preschool area, which consists of five preschools. Together, we work to develop play-responsive teaching where you, as a preschool teacher, play an important role. The preschool is characterized by development, engagement, joy, and playfulness. The materials and environment are permissive, inspiring, developing, and accessible to all children.
The preschool, like other preschools, is in a development process where our documentation in Unikum, our systematic quality work as a whole, and the revised curriculum are some examples of areas we are working on, daring to reconsider and develop together.
With us, you will work with colleagues to give children the best start in the school system. You will work with the entire group of children but also see the individual child. In your work, you will adapt and develop the activities according to the children and offer them a stimulating and developing learning environment. You are a co-researching educator who challenges children in everyday life through play and imagination. You will also design learning environments based on children's interests, curiosity, and creativity related to the curriculum. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, documenting, evaluating, and analyzing the work regarding children's development and learning together with your colleagues.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher or in the final stages of your preschool teacher education. We prefer that you have experience in similar tasks, and we place great importance on personal suitability.
You have a conscious thought about your role as a preschool teacher and are a clear leader who works structured based on current governing documents. You have a professional approach and a good ability to create a positive work environment with engagement, curiosity, and safety in the group.
You see and meet children's different needs based on their various conditions, and you adapt your working methods to create opportunities for all children to develop. You also have a positive attitude, a flexible working style, and good collaboration skills both towards colleagues and guardians.
