JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a music teacher. The position involves teaching music to all classes at the school as well as teaching music at the adapted primary school. All music teaching takes place in the facilities of Lenhovdaskolan. You will have close collaboration with colleagues. The position also includes the role of support teacher during certain parts of the school day, which occurs when students have other lessons. Part of the workday may be allocated to the school's after-school activities.

As a teacher, you will help develop the school's pedagogical activities. The work consists of planning, implementing, evaluating, and developing teaching together with the work team based on our governing documents and the goals of the organization.

This is a fantastic opportunity to teach in relatively small teaching groups. It can also be an opportunity for you who have not previously worked as a music teacher but believe this could be something that suits you. We welcome all applicants.

The position has previously included assignments in after-school activities. For applicants who only wish to teach music, this would mean a position of 45% scheduled for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday as the schedule currently stands, with the possibility of adjustments as needed. If you have another subject in combination with music, this could also be of interest to us.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a teaching license with qualifications for teaching in the subject of music and the relevant age range.

You should be structured, clear, and consistent, have the ability to take your own initiatives with a great deal of engagement and flexibility.
