JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for you, an engaged preschool teacher, who wants to be part of our team at Björken Preschool!

The preschool is a municipal unit consisting of five departments divided into two groups for younger children and three groups for older children. The preschool is centrally located along the old narrow-gauge railway at Vårvägen in Växjö city. The preschool has a large beautiful yard divided into smaller enclosed areas for better outdoor teaching environments. The preschool is close to various green areas in its vicinity, and with a short walk, both the city, library, and larger playgrounds can be reached. If you want to go to the forest or take a longer trip, you can easily use our two electric cargo bikes.

As a preschool teacher, you will have a key role in the children's development and learning, being responsible for planning and implementing educational activities that promote the child's best opportunities to benefit from the various parts of Lpfö with a focus on language development. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed preschool teacher and passionate about working with children and contributing to every child's opportunity to develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment.

As a person, you are collaborative and enjoy working in a team, but you are also confident in independent work. You have a positive and inclusive approach and take responsibility for the best education for the children as well as your own professional development. You also have good digital skills and strong knowledge of the Swedish language.

It is an advantage if you have completed basic training in UNIKUM and have experience working in the learning platform.
