JOB DESCRIPTION

Furutå School is a F-6 school with an associated after-school program. We have about 300 students and 45 staff members. The school is located in the southern part of the city, in the Teleborg district, just a stone's throw away from both Lake Växjö and Lake Södra Bergunda. Close to the school, we have a forest that is used by both the school and the after-school program.

The after-school program is currently divided into four departments, and we work with mixed-age groups F-1 and 2-3 as well as 4-6. In this role, you will collaborate with both the teachers in the after-school program and the teachers in F-1. You will plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching based on Lgr22. You always focus on the student's learning within a pedagogical, social, and physically accessible learning environment where you can create activities based on the student's needs and interests.

For us at Furutå, it is important to build trusting relationships and maintain the high level of comfort and safety that exists at the school. As a teacher in the after-school program, you are an important part of the students' entire school day. During school hours, you will teach a subject or work with break activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with qualifications as a teacher for the after-school program. You have a good understanding of the school's and after-school program's governing documents.

You are a clear leader with good foresight and structure, and you have good communication with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are driven to develop the operations to achieve high quality for the students. You have the ability to create a positive working environment in the group through engagement, curiosity, safety, and see collaboration as a given to achieve success and development.

You adapt to changing circumstances and see solutions to problems that may arise.

Additionally, you have an interest in working with digital tools in teaching.
