JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to help develop our leisure center? Then you have the opportunity to become part of our team at Åby School. We are now looking for an engaged and creative leisure teacher who wants to create a meaningful leisure activity for our students in a safe and inspiring environment. The role also includes teaching sports in all grades of the school. The position also includes teaching sports in grades F-6.

As a leisure teacher, you take an active responsibility for planning and developing the activities. You plan, implement, develop, and evaluate the work in the leisure center together with colleagues in the work team. In the role of sports teacher, you plan and conduct sports lessons independently with a clear connection to the curriculum.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a degree/teaching license as a leisure teacher with the qualification to teach physical education and health. You exercise clear leadership and work structured based on applicable governing documents and a professional approach.

• has teaching qualifications with a focus on leisure
• has good insight into the leisure center's mission and bases their work on each student's needs and conditions.
• has a good ability to create trusting relationships.
• is flexible and has good collaboration skills.
