We are looking for a family home secretary for the social services family home unit in Eslöv.
We are located in Eslöv's city hall, centrally situated with good commuting opportunities from all over Skåne. Our workplace is characterized by a close community where we actively support and uplift each other in our daily work.
The social services authority works with children and young people aged 0–18 years and their families. The unit is divided into different teams; Reception, Investigating social workers, Family homes, and Family law.
In the family home group, a total of seven people work, including family home secretaries, child secretaries, and coordinators. The team is led closely by the deputy unit manager.
Your mission
As a family home secretary, you will conduct investigations and assessments of prospective caregivers who want to become emergency homes, family homes, or contact persons/contact families, ensuring they are matched with the child or youth who needs their support.
- You support and guide family homes and document in our system "Lifecare"
- Work on establishing compensation levels and creating contracts, as well as planning and implementing competency-enhancing measures such as training and information sessions for caregivers
- You work closely with your colleagues and the social workers in the unit's investigation group
- You play a central role in ensuring safe and sustainable family home placements

Your experience
You want to contribute your expertise and commitment to create safety and support for children and families and to make a difference in important life situations. We are looking for someone with a few years of experience working as a family home secretary. You have:
- A recognized social work degree or other relevant education that the employer assesses as equivalent
- Knowledge in system and network-oriented work
- Good knowledge of current legislation, the social system, child development, and keeping up with current research
- Ease in expressing yourself in writing and are used to documenting
- A valid driver's license as travel is often required in the job
