About the Workplace

32.Garnisonsbataljonen is a support function for the Helicopter Wing and part of the combat unit 3.Flygflottiljen. The battalion includes functions for logistics, medical care, and training and has its main operational location in Linköping. The battalion consists largely of civilian employees and carries out its tasks across the entire conflict spectrum.

32.Garnisonsbataljonen is a workplace under development where new functions, units, and tasks are added over time.

Main Responsibilities

As an HR officer at 32.Garnisonsbataljonen, you will support the battalion's leaders at both operational and administrative levels. Being a close operational support to the leaders is a significant part of the job, both regarding individual cases and more general issues. In addition, you will independently and in collaboration with the battalion management lead and develop various HR projects. Other tasks such as training initiatives, participation in the combat unit's exercise and operational activities, as well as general staff work may occur. Travel may also be part of the job.

Qualifications

• Academic education in HR/personnel administration or work experience deemed equivalent.
• Experience working consultatively with managers in the personnel field, preferably within public sector.
• Good ability to express oneself in speech and writing.
• Good knowledge of the Office suite.

Meritorious

• Completed military basic training.
• Experience in public sector, preferably state operations.
• Experience of work or service within the Swedish Armed Forces.
• Driving license B.

Personal Qualities

We are looking for someone who has the ability to work independently and has a good ability to structure their work. You see what needs to be done within your area of responsibility and develop the operations. You have good communication and collaboration skills and build and maintain trusting relationships. You see the whole picture and can work with a wide variety of tasks, even outside your main area of work and can make thoughtful priorities.

The employment is a permanent position that begins with a six-month probationary period.
