Åbrädden is one of Helsingborg's larger nursing homes with 81 apartments spread over three floors. The residence is located in Råå with beautiful surroundings and close to the sea. We proudly received a star rating in 2024, which means that the staff has high competence regarding the reception of residents with cognitive impairments.

Job Description

As a care assistant with us, you will work to enable individuals to live as independently as possible.

In your role as a care assistant, you will carry out care, nursing, and service tasks for our residents, such as providing support during meals, social presence, and more. You create conditions for a good quality of life and a meaningful existence for the residents. You will be part of a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists, as well as a unit manager, and perform delegated tasks such as training interventions, medication handover, and wound dressing.

Other tasks include documentation according to applicable legislation and case management.

With us, you will work scheduled hours with day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant with a genuine interest in working with people and who meets each individual based on their needs and wishes. You should be able to meet people in various situations in a professional manner. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and responsible, and you are a good colleague with a positive outlook.

To proceed in the recruitment process, you need to:

• be confident in your role as a care assistant
• be willing to take and perform the delegated healthcare tasks required by the job
• be comfortable working with various digital tools
• have basic computer skills and documentation experience
• have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is an advantage if you have had a responsibility in documentation and have experience working with BPSD registration and actions regarding BPSD symptoms.
