This position is a collaboration between us at Manpower and Scania. You will be employed by us at Manpower but work on-site at Scania. This is a consulting assignment that starts with a fixed-term employment of 6 months with good chances of extension.

About the job

Scania is an industry-leading, innovative company that is well-known worldwide. Scania's transport laboratory is used for some of Scania's own internal transport needs. A large part of your work will involve testing and evaluating new trucks, some of which have not yet been released to the market. You will not load yourself but will be responsible for ensuring that the cargo is secured safely.

You will also contribute to identifying potential areas for improvement by documenting your observations and suggesting changes to the development team. This can include everything from reporting on the driving experience and driving ergonomics to testing advanced technological features. Communication with engineers and other team members is an important part of the role to ensure that the finished products meet both customer and company expectations.

Your place of employment will be Malmö, but you will start from Ishøj (Copenhagen) and drive to Götaström or Zwolle (Netherlands).

Qualifications

CE driving license
Valid YKB
Proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
Access to your own car
You have a valid passport
You have good computer skills

We consider it an advantage if you have ADR, forklift license, and have previously worked with truck driving or service.

To succeed in this assignment, you need to be service-oriented, self-driven, and responsible, as well as able to solve problems independently. You should follow rules and instructions carefully for safety reasons and have good organizational skills to plan your work effectively. An interest in the transport profession and technology development is important, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English. We value commitment and teamwork to achieve common goals.
