About the Role
As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for leading and developing the team to achieve optimal performance on the production lines. Your role includes driving improvements, resource planning, personnel development, and administrative support within your shift team.
You will have overall responsibility for improving the performance of the production lines through active engagement in IWS and process management. You will lead and allocate tasks, ensure accurate resource planning, and optimize line structure for maximum efficiency. By coaching team members and ensuring compliance with EHS, quality, and hygiene policies, you create a safe and productive work environment. You will also follow up on action plans and promote effective use of IWS tools for continuous improvements.
Additional responsibilities include administrative tasks such as time reporting, ordering work clothes, and leading daily line meetings to maintain standards. By streamlining both planned and unplanned downtime, you actively work to achieve production goals.
The position is a consultancy assignment via Adecco for 6 months with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position with the client. The planned start is immediate, and the position is located in Malmö. You will be working shifts.
About You
We are looking for an experienced and responsible leader with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and improvement work. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and have a natural ability to create and nurture relationships at all levels within the organization. With a clear drive to lead change, you inspire others to achieve common goals and strengthen the organization's core values.
You have experience leading teams and have personnel responsibility. You also have knowledge or experience of Integrated Work Systems (IWS/Lean), understand the purpose of IWS pillars, and the methods to achieve desired results. Additionally, you have good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and are fluent in both Swedish and English. With a focus on maintaining a safe and productive work environment, you also have knowledge of the Work Environment Act and labor law.
