At Öresundskraft, we take sustainability seriously. We are now looking for someone who wants to lead our work towards Net Zero CO₂ by 2030 and help drive the climate and energy transition in one of Sweden's most innovative energy regions!

In this position, you will be part of a team of dedicated specialists in the department of Energy Systems & Strategy, which belongs to AO Energy Systems & Services, where your focus will be to drive and create structure for Öresundskraft's goal of net zero CO2 by 2030, both internally and externally.

About the position

As our Sustainability Strategist at Öresundskraft, you will play a central role in driving the company's sustainability strategy. You will collaborate with functions within the organization to increase understanding and motivation around the desire to participate in a transition to reduce environmental impact and increase sustainability in all parts of the process. An important part of the role is to cooperate and maintain good relationships with authorities, customers, and partners to create conditions and inspire necessary steps together in the work towards climate neutrality.

To stay updated in the field, you will follow developments and trends in sustainability so that you can guide the organization in keeping up with advancements in the area. You will participate in national and regional networks and development projects in the field and engage in dialogue with our larger corporate customers as a qualified advisor on how they can become climate neutral/positive.

As a Sustainability Strategist, you will also be responsible for coordinating Öresundskraft's sustainability reporting and environmental management 14001 and ensuring that we have the overarching routines required to succeed in effective sustainability work.

About you

We are now looking for someone with a strong passion for sustainability issues and solid experience in similar work in the field. To thrive and succeed in this role, you should have a high drive in your work, be humble, and feel secure in your professional role.

We see that you have a relevant higher education in environmental and/or energy fields or equivalent experience. It is advantageous if you have good knowledge of energy systems and the energy industry. You have previously worked with environmental issues in a context where you have acquired knowledge about legislation, permits, and standards in the environmental field.

For the role, it is important that you have good analytical skills and a holistic perspective. You are also used to creating structure, have experience writing reports, and giving presentations. Since you will be our representative for sustainability work in the organization, it is important that you enjoy acting as a spokesperson and thought leader. You will be responsible for guiding and communicating clear goals for the organization related to sustainability work.
