Material Planner Wanted for an Exciting Long-Term Consulting Assignment at Nederman

About the Position

As a Material Planner at Nederman, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient flows of raw materials and components to production. You will work with the entire process – from planning and order placement to follow-up and root cause analysis. In collaboration with suppliers and internal teams, you will contribute to optimizing processes and solving challenges along the way.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Material Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Planning incoming materials and inventory management.
• Placing orders, managing documentation, and following up on purchase orders.
• Escalating serious disruptions to the right contact person.
• Prioritizing issues with suppliers in consultation with production planning and customer support.
• Administering material and freight invoices and ensuring correct master data.
• Analyzing and addressing causes behind delivery precision and participating in follow-up meetings with suppliers.
• Representing material planning in internal projects and driving local process improvements.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we believe you have:

• A college/university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in purchasing/material or production planning, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Good system skills and of course experience with business systems and Excel.
