Laboratory Engineer for an Exciting and Educational Role at Solenis in Helsingborg

You will play an important role in our quality and production processes. You will not only perform analyses and quality controls but also take the initiative to implement and improve various solutions. As your knowledge and experience of different instruments and techniques grow, you will increasingly contribute to maintaining and developing our processes and ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. You will work closely with production, where you will have highly knowledgeable operators.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing and monitoring analyses and quality controls based on established specifications.
  • Proactively identifying and managing problems in production processes. Finding solutions that improve efficiency and quality.
  • Working closely with operations operators, logistics personnel, and process engineers. Clearly communicating results and recommendations, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ensuring the quality of raw materials and finished products through extensive testing and compliance with ISO 9001 standards. Supporting the maintenance of a high standard in production.
  • Assisting with orders, instrument maintenance, and training of new employees. Contributing to maintaining compliance with relevant standards.

Your profile:

You have a post-secondary technical or scientific education with a focus on chemistry, chemical engineering, or equivalent experience. You have practical experience from laboratory environments with knowledge of various analytical techniques (e.g., pH, UV spectroscopy, GC, HPLC, viscosity, density). Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required.

Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is an advantage. Knowledge of gas chromatography (GC) is a significant benefit, as well as knowledge of GMP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, 45001, and Responsible Care 14001. Furthermore, it is a plus if you have laboratory experience and knowledge of instrument maintenance.

You are driven and solution-oriented with a documented ability to proactively seek and find solutions to challenges. You are also meticulous and analytical and have the ability to prioritize among your tasks. Furthermore, you are outgoing and communicative with a positive and service-minded attitude and have an easy time collaborating.

About the position:

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Råå, Helsingborg, starting by agreement.
