Are you a team player passionate about sharing your knowledge?
We are currently looking for a 2nd Officer for one of our vessels departing from Trelleborg starting in April. We apply a shipping employment model, which means you may be reassigned to other Swedish-flagged vessels within Stena Line in the future.
As a 2nd Officer, you will play a key role within the deck department, with safety as the highest priority.
You will be responsible for ensuring that tasks such as loading and unloading are carried out efficiently and correctly. You will also work closely with the Chief Officer to coordinate maintenance work.
Some responsibilities include:
- Responsible for navigation and safety
- Work to streamline and strengthen the deck department
- Assist the Chief Officer in leading maintenance onboard
- Plan and be responsible for loading and unloading
- Responsible for medical care onboard
- Be a motivated and inspiring team player

Your must-haves:
- Deck Officer Class V
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
- Good system knowledge
- Fluent in English and Swedish
- Dangerous Goods Certificate
- Medical Care
Desirable:
- Deck Officer Class II
- FRB

This is a permanent position starting in April 2025, and the employment is full-time. We apply a shipping employment model, which means you may be reassigned to other Swedish-flagged vessels within Stena Line in the future, and the salary is regulated by a collective agreement with SBF.
