Here we perform many different physiological examinations such as ultrasound of the heart and vessels, exercise and resting ECG, as well as long-term ECG monitoring. We also conduct lung function tests and various types of pressure measurements. Furthermore, we perform some special examinations such as TILT and NIE. In our nuclear medicine department, we perform, among other things, myocardial and skeletal scintigraphies, lung scintigraphies, and thyroid scintigraphies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nursing assistant with us, you primarily staff resting ECG at our drop-in clinic and simultaneously serve departments during acute ECG situations. You independently connect long-term ECG and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and assist BMA and doctors in some examinations.

To facilitate daily operations and to keep the premises and everything related to them in functional condition, you as a nursing assistant also have an overarching responsibility in certain matters concerning our premises, such as waiting rooms, storage, staff rooms, and cleaning.

As a nursing assistant with us, you are involved in the daily patient-facing work not only with your own patients but also in calling in others' patients and being available during their visits here. You prepare the examination room between patients, call for transport, and help ensure that the patient has a good experience with us.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you are a trained nursing assistant with an emergency care/healthcare focus. You must also have experience in taking ECGs. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement for the position.

We are looking for someone who is accommodating and service-oriented in your approach, towards both patients and colleagues. Putting the patient first is natural for you. You are flexible, resilient, and adapt when the conditions of work tasks change. Since the role involves working both independently and in a team, it is important that you have a good ability for this. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant within healthcare and social services. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and are offered a new position, you can retain your title as a nursing assistant until June 30, 2033. If you do not currently have a professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare, it means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant and not nursing assistant.
