Bygghemma is Sweden's largest online-based player in building materials, home, and garden. We at Bygghemma are now looking for a Senior Developer who wants to help develop one of the largest e-commerce platforms in the Nordics. With us, you will work with modern cloud-based solutions at a high level to constantly develop and improve the shopping experience for our customers.

Your future tasks You will work in our team with skilled developers who build the services and integrations behind the best e-commerce site in the Nordics. As one of the largest e-retailers in the Nordics, we have a modern and in-house developed solution to optimize for our customers' needs. Your and the department's tasks are to develop the platform to enable functions and automation that improve the shopping experience and streamline our flows. A platform that can handle many sites with cutting-edge performance. Our solutions are based on .NET.

About you We are primarily looking for a more senior profile, so you should have several years of experience in development and have worked with a number of different solutions. We want to maintain a high level in the department, so we are looking for you who is a sharp developer and has the appetite to build really good solutions. We expect you to be passionate about programming and you likely have an interesting hobby project you would like to tell us more about.

We work in .NET and database-wise, it is mainly MongoDB and SQL. You should feel comfortable with these and be an expert in one or more of them. We are migrating to the cloud, so K8S is something you are comfortable with. If you have worked with GCP before, it is a merit. It is not the first time you encounter Jira, and you thrive in an agile environment. If you have worked with retail or even e-commerce, this is of course a merit.
