Software Tester at Axis Communications

Axis Communications in Lund is currently looking for a Software Tester to join a team responsible for testing the Axis Video Management System (VMS) Camera Station Pro! This product is an important part of Axis solutions for video surveillance, and there are great ambitions to develop this product in the coming years. The video solution being developed will be integrated into vehicles. As a Software Tester, you will play a crucial role in the development of this product, thus becoming an important piece in Axis Communications' technological advancement! All Axis teams are agile, responsible for their part of the solution, with great openness and freedom. It is important for them to have fun at work and to develop high-quality software as part of a team. In this role, you will also work closely with customers, including conducting pilot installations together with them.

In this role, you will code in Python and within the Windows domain. Your tasks will include planning and executing short-term manual tests together with the team, and based on needs, planning and conducting longer test sessions with colleagues from other teams. You will also develop automated tests for the technical area. You will work full-time from Axis headquarters in Lund during regular office hours, Monday to Friday. This role is a consulting assignment where you are employed by StudentConsulting and rented out to Axis Communications.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for:

• You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or another relevant field.
• You have experience with testing at various levels, both automated and manual.
• You have experience with Python.
• You are a team player and describe yourself as communicative, curious, and responsible.
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English.

It is a plus if you:

• Have experience working in Windows or Cloud environments.
• Have experience with network communication.
