ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Material Planner, you will play a significant role in ensuring smooth flows of raw materials and components in production. You will work throughout the process, from planning and ordering to follow-up and root cause analysis. In close collaboration with suppliers and internal departments, you will work to optimize processes and solve problems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

• Plan incoming materials and inventory management for the specified range
• Place orders with suppliers and manage documentation related to this
• Monitor purchase orders, manage incoming deliveries, and update existing orders as needed
• Escalate serious disruptions to the responsible purchaser, purchasing manager, or planning manager
• Manage prioritization issues with suppliers in consultation with production planning and customer support group
• Administer material and freight invoices and ensure correct master data to support KPIs such as delivery precision
• Represent material planning in internal projects and local process improvements
• Conduct root cause analysis of delivery precision from suppliers and act on identified causes
• Participate in follow-up meetings with suppliers as needed

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

• Have a university degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
• Have experience in material or production planning, preferably from a manufacturing industry
• Are fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience with business systems and Excel is an advantage
