Job Description

We are now looking for a temporary worker for a three-month assignment at our client's laboratory in Stidsvig. This is a fantastic opportunity for you who may be studying a course or subject related to laboratory and quality work, or who has an interest in gaining practical experience in the field. The assignment is full-time, daytime Monday – Friday. 

On-call duty may occur on some Saturdays.

Start immediately with an assignment for 3 months.

Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with laboratory work from school or another laboratory environment.
• Is meticulous, structured, and has a calm working style.
• Has a positive attitude and wants to do a good job – this is more important than previous experience!
• Speaks and writes fluent Swedish. Knowledge of English is an advantage.
• Has a driver's license and the ability to get to Stidsvig on your own.

Qualifications

In the role of laboratory assistant, you will:

• Perform simple analyses (training will be provided on-site).
• Handle samples – collection, registration, labeling, and packing for external laboratories.
• Manage reference samples and ensure that there is order and cleanliness in the laboratory.
• Perform daily tasks such as analysis work, sample handling, dishwashing, and waste management.
