As a water advisor at HIR Skåne, you will support agricultural companies in areas such as drainage, tile drainage, ponds, and wetlands. The role involves problem-solving, customer contact, and technical fieldwork, such as inspecting wells and drainage, as well as advising on water law. This position primarily focuses on tile drainage, but you will have the opportunity to expand your areas of work over time. This means you will have a varied role where you work closely with agriculture and rural enterprises.

You will work in a team of highly competent water advisors within HIR Skåne. You will also be part of a national network of water advisors at the Agricultural Society. We offer interesting and varied tasks where each customer assignment is unique. The company also has specialist expertise related to water use in agriculture, including permit assessments, pesticide use in water protection areas, and irrigation issues.

What you can contribute

As a person, you are proactive and value good contact with customers, colleagues, and partners. You are meticulous in your work and have a technical interest. You enjoy working independently, but also contributing to the development of the team. Of course, you have a solid interest in the agricultural sector and water in particular!

• Suitable educational background: Agronomist, civil engineer in water or environmental engineering with a focus on water, surveying engineer, or agricultural economist.

• Desirable: Knowledge of AutoCAD, leveling with GNSS instruments, education and experience in water law. Experience working with technical tasks related to water or water law. Interest in agriculture.

• Requirements: B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle. Good physical condition is required for leveling work.
