Your Role

Do you have an interest in aircraft maintenance and are ready for new challenges? Then you could become a part of our operations! SAAB is expanding its operations within the JAS39 system and is now looking for a new employee to join our team in Ljungbyhed. The Military Fix Wing section is a unit that delivers maintenance, modifications, and repairs to all users of the JAS39 system both within and outside Sweden's borders.

In your role as technical support, you will be part of a team within Base staff together with other planners/preparers, logisticians, and technicians. In our team, we strive to help each other with most tasks that arise. This means that you need to be flexible and not afraid to assist others when needed.

Your tasks include:

• Providing advice during troubleshooting
• Managing additional orders
• Driving preparations and startup of inspections
• Having a central role towards the customer
• Participating in the handover of the aircraft to the customer

Your placement is in Ljungbyhed. Work at other locations may occur to varying extents.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in aviation technology. You have a solution-oriented approach and are driven by collaborating to achieve common goals. In addition, you have the ability to motivate yourself and enjoy juggling multiple tasks.

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• Previous relevant work experience as an aircraft technician
• Good communication skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Driving license B

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Experience in aircraft maintenance operations within military maintenance approvals RML V6A/EMAR Part 145 or civilian Part 145
• Documented experience from support systems, primarily Fenix, Sherpa, and Amos
• Knowledge/familiarity with the JAS 39 maintenance program
• Aircraft technician certificates B1, B2, and/or C JAS 39 C/D

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
