There is now an opportunity to become part of Digitalization IT and MT and the Digital Workplace unit. We, as a unit, deliver IT services, products, and support to all employees of Region Skåne. We are currently looking for a platform specialist for the IT workplace area.

The Digitalization IT and MT management provides support and service to the Skåne healthcare system. The management's mission is to implement a modern and cohesive digital healthcare environment while managing and efficiently consolidating today's existing IT environment. The mission includes the management and support of existing and upcoming systems. Medical technology (MT) also works with service, maintenance, procurement, and in-house manufacturing of medical technology equipment.

Within the management, the area of infrastructure and security is one of five operational areas and consists of five units: Digital Workplace, Data Center, Data Communication and Telephony, and IT Security. The roles in these units include unit managers, platform managers, platform and application specialists, and service delivery managers, among others, who are responsible for the delivery of processes, daily operations, and the development of existing services.

We operate from our premises at Medicon Village in Lund, although remote work has become a natural part of our everyday life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a platform specialist, you are an expert within a platform and are responsible for proactively contributing specialist expertise to ensure its functionality and technical integration according to the needs of various IT/MT services. You have knowledge of the platform's functionality and a good understanding of how the platform supports workflows and meets the needs of the IT/MT services in which the platform is included.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Working with management and development activities from a functional and technical perspective.
• Identifying and driving improvements within the platform proactively.
• Configuring the platform for a region-wide standard (e.g., maintenance, design, and registry management).
• Troubleshooting and validating configurations.
• Participating in testing new functionality to ensure suitability and correctness from a technical/functional perspective.
• Working with problem cases, troubleshooting, and handling incidents and problems.

You primarily collaborate with the platform manager, application specialist, service delivery manager, supplier, and, if relevant, the equipment manager and equipment specialist within medical technology. Additionally, there is contact with representatives from the business, in the relevant service structure.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered for the position, you must have a deep understanding of device management, IT service management, and the ITIL 4 framework. You also have good general IT knowledge and experience with and a strong interest in IT service delivery to customers. You should have an academic education or another educational background combined with experience that the employer considers equivalent. You also need to be proficient in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

If you have any of the following, it is an advantage for the position:

• Technical knowledge of Microsoft client management solutions and in the area of IT security
• Experience in platform/application management within a service organization
• Post-secondary education in IT
