Vårdcentralen Tollarp, the Degeberga branch, is located in the countryside next to forests and open fields. Here we have about 9000 registered patients who have placed their trust in us. In both locations, there is a strong community spirit and great trust in the health center. We offer interdisciplinary care for both somatic and mental health issues and work on developing new methods with team-based care. We are connected to five nursing homes and provide home healthcare in two areas.

The medical team consists of five general practitioners. Additionally, we are fully staffed with secretaries, nursing assistants, nurses, and district nurses. We have specialized clinics for asthma, diabetes, elderly care, and child health care.

We are constantly evolving, and this autumn the focus is on developing teamwork at the health center. We are proud to offer patients interdisciplinary assessments from professionals such as physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and somatic assessments. Through this, we can collectively provide the best care for our patients. We are also proud to have achieved 100% telephone availability over the past two years, which is a step towards ensuring triage so that patients in greatest need of care receive it.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking forward to welcoming a driven and engaged specialist doctor to our team!

With us, you will be offered a varied and developing job where you will work in a team with other specialists and doctors. In your role, you will have both acute and scheduled appointments. The position involves common tasks for a specialist in primary care such as district doctor appointments, emergency services, child health care, nursing homes, and supervision of training doctors.

We have been working with joint assessment rounds over the past year that develop our teamwork within the staff group. We will continue to work on structuring team activities where we utilize the staff's expertise in different professions to meet the diverse needs of those who seek us at the health center.

As a new employee with us, you will receive an introduction tailored to your experiences so that you can integrate into the operations smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you as a doctor with specialist training in general medicine with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. If you are a double specialist or have advanced competence in another specialty beyond general medicine, it is an advantage. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We also consider it desirable if you are familiar with the PMO journal system and/or have experience working in primary care.

You work with the patient in focus and see a good approach towards both patients and colleagues as a given. We are looking for someone with good communication skills, an easy collaborator, and a genuine interest in general medicine and primary care. It is important that you enjoy and function well working in a team with colleagues from both your own and other professions. Furthermore, you are development-oriented and find it stimulating to drive and participate in various forms of improvement work that contributes to high medical quality. As a person, you are positive, meticulous, and structured. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
