Bup in Ystad consists of a reception unit where outpatient care is the foundation of the clinical operations, and there is also an intermediate care unit, an eating disorder team, and an infant and toddler unit. We are a team of about 45 employees, including nurses, psychologists, psychotherapists, health and medical care social workers, social workers, child psychiatrists, ST doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, PTP psychologists, and unit managers. During the semesters, there are often also social work candidates, psychology candidates, and nursing students.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse with us, you will work with children, young people, and their families. You will perform common nursing tasks within your competence, both independently and in a team. Responsibilities may include telephone counseling, follow-up of medication treatment, digital interventions, conversations, group treatments, information meetings, and registration in quality registers. Bup Ystad also actively participates in various collaborative forms, such as network work in cooperation with schools and municipalities in the local area.

Our operations are characterized by a broad child and adolescent psychiatric competence with a strong focus on developmental issues and interdisciplinary collaboration among the various professional groups. We aim to develop care and offer you good opportunities for professional development and continuous further education based on interest and in line with patients' needs and the goals of the organization. We provide you with a tailored introduction based on your competencies and experiences. Supervision and mentorship occur in various forms, and the shadowing period is approximately three weeks.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Additionally, you have language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale.

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Work experience as a nurse
• Specialist training in psychiatry or child and adolescent healthcare
• Further education levels 1 and 2
• Work experience in child psychiatric assessment, treatment, and investigation
• Good computer skills
• Experience with the Melior journal system and the Våps booking system

It is important that you enjoy and have an interest in working with groups, family work, individual contacts, and collaborating with colleagues and healthcare partners. The work requires that you have good initiative and are responsible and flexible. Additionally, you contribute positively to teamwork by sharing your knowledge and experiences.
