We are currently looking for a nurse for our care and nursing home, Fosieborg!

Fosieborg is a care and group home located in the lovely Lindeborg area. Close to the residence, there is a pleasant green outdoor environment. Here, there are 47 apartments distributed over six departments, of which four are dementia departments.

We offer you a varied job with the freedom to plan and structure your work independently. Opportunities for professional development through professional networks and further education to become a specialist nurse during paid working hours. Individually tailored introduction and mentorship during the first year. Working hours are scheduled during the day from 07:00 to 15:30 with shifts every sixth weekend.

Job Responsibilities

As a nurse, you are responsible for the care of the patients. This means that you independently assess, plan, and organize medical interventions and nursing efforts. You are responsible for guiding, educating, and delegating nursing staff. You work person-centered by involving the patient in decisions and collaborating closely with relatives and the team around the patient.

You regularly collaborate with primary care through rounds based on a patient focus. You will also collaborate with several actors according to the health and medical care agreement, where the county council, municipality, and primary care are included to meet the individual’s care needs. In our care and nursing homes, we work with quality assurance systems BPSD, Senior Alert, and Palliative Register.

We are looking for someone who

Is a licensed nurse with at least one year of work experience. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in elderly care and with people who are multi-sick and/or have dementia, as well as if you have specialist education in a relevant field. We prefer that you have good experience collaborating with other authorities and being part of various networks. To thrive in the role, you are independent, responsible, solution-focused, and have a clear commitment and interest in the health of elderly patients. We welcome innovative thinking and see great advantages in you actively participating in developing the operations. You are flexible, open to new challenges, and have the will and ability to work in a team. You have a good attitude and contribute to a good working environment.

The work requires good digital competence, insight into applicable legislation, setting goals and guidelines, and very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

A driving license (B) is considered an advantage.
