The Adult Psychiatry Ward 54 is located at Helsingborg Hospital and is a general psychiatric care ward for adults of all ages, with specialist competence in geriatric psychiatry. Here, patients aged 18 and older are cared for, requiring specialized psychiatric inpatient care. Common diagnoses include depression, bipolar disorder, delusional disorder, personality disorders, confusion, and dementia with psychiatric symptoms. We take into account the psychiatric, somatic, psychosocial, and existential well-being of the patients with an overarching goal of continuously developing and improving care. Our ward has just moved into newly renovated premises with only single rooms, where we currently have twelve regular treatment places. We also have a close collaboration with the geriatric psychiatric outpatient clinic located next door to our ward.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a nurse for night shifts on our ward!

On the ward, we work in a cross-professional team where you collaborate with other nurses, doctors, social workers, occupational therapists, medical secretaries, and peer support. With us, everyone plays an important part in the patients' care and contributes with their unique competence. As a nurse, you plan the patient's care, treat the patient, and lead the nursing work. The daily work also includes some medical technical tasks.

To help you settle into the role as smoothly as possible, we offer an introduction tailored to your competence and experiences. We also value professional development and therefore offer continuous training, both internally and externally.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required. If you have specialized training in psychiatry, it is considered an advantage for the position. Previous experience in psychiatry is also beneficial. We also welcome newly graduated candidates with an interest in our target group.

You value cross-professional collaboration and are professional in your interactions with both colleagues and in contact with other professions.
